Bare Necessities at Wilmslow

LOCAL charity Bare Necessities enjoyed their third annual Golf Day at Wilmslow Golf Club who were again great hosts.
There were 21 teams playing in a Texas Scramble format and the day raised over £14,000 for the charity.
Organiser Wendy Hobson said: “It was a fabulous day and everyone had a great time.
“Once again we were indebted to our main sponsor Anwyl Homes with support from Healthwork, Morson Projects, Bentley Manchester and Oliver Pantoja Golf who provided additional on-course challenges which everyone enjoyed.
“Last but not least the day would not have run so smoothly without the help of our magnificent army of helpers, volunteers, scorers, administrators and Simon, Karen and Ged from The Wilmslow Golf Club.
“Each month we support 32 charities offering essential toiletries to local people living with hygiene poverty. We spend £2,500 each month and we need your help to continue our work and if you wish to make a regular gift check out the website bntoiletrybank.org/donate where you can make a regular donation or a one-off Paypal donation.”
