Cheshire Host Northern Boys Qualifying

Cheshire and Shrigley Hall host the 2023 renewal of the Northern Boys Qualifying on Wed 5th July.

We are delighted to host this year’s event. Shrigley Hall will be an excellent venue for this one-day 36 hole competition featuring under 18s from Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Durham, Northumberland and Cheshire.

Each team fields six players whose aggregate scores over 36 holes count to the team total. Winners qualify for the England Golf Boys County Finals.

Last year Yorkshire recorded a convincing win. But our team have developed significantly in the intervening 12 months, and we anticipate a close contest. Our thanks to Shrigley Hall for hosting this major event, we are sure the course will present an excellent challenge.

This is a great opportunity to see the stars of the future, and spectators are most welcome.
