100 up for Ringway’s Tom

CUGC and Mid Cheshire Junior Golf League organiser Graham McCormack was delighted to be invited on behalf of the Cheshire Union of Golf Clubs, to a very special birthday party held at Ringway Golf Club for their long-time member and junior organiser Tom Harrison.
Graham, Cheshire’s U14s Team Manager has long been an admirer of Tom for the work he has done for junior golf at his club and in the region.
He was delighted to present Tom with a unique County shield, to celebrate his 100th birthday, in recognition of his lifetime involvement with junior golfers at Ringway Golf Club and his support of the CUGC.
Graham said: “It was pointed out to Tom that he was likened to a stick of Blackpool rock! But for him it read through –‘Junior Golf’.”
