Boys begin title defence with a win

Last year Cheshire Boys u18 team were proud and delighted winners of the inaugural Northern Counties Junior League.
They have been working hard during the winter months with their excellent coaches and they certainly reaped the benefits in their opening defence of the trophy.
They took on Durham at Prenton and showed their intent as they won the morning Foursomes by 4-1 with wins from Captain Harry Kell (Sandiway) and Lucas Kuiper (Stockport0 3/2, Cole Self (Ringway) and Spencer Davies (Wallasey) 6/5, Laurent Beech (Eaton) and Nathan Hopley (Bramall Park) 8/6, and Ellis Courtnell( Ringway) and Cole Parkinson (Reddish Vale)
There was no letting up in the afternoon singles as Cheshire romped home by 9-1 to finish as 13-2 winners on the day.
The singles winners were Lucas Kuiper 3/1,Cole Self 3/2, Spencer Davies two up, Laurent Beech 4/2, Nathan Hopley 4/3, Matty Griffiths (Lymm) 6/5, Aaron Cullen (Royal Liverpool) 4/2, Ellis Courtnell 3/2, Cole Parkinson one up.
