Cheshire Life Members Fourth Summer Meeting at Mottram Hall

Roger Scowcroft and a Sandiway group on the 9th green

Peter Whitehead and a Wilmslow group on the first tee

Mottram Hall provided a superb venue for the latest Cheshire Life Members Meeting with their course showing the benefits of recent improvements.
The course was in terrific condition and provided a strong challenge and a thrilling finish with just a point separating the top five pairs in another full field of players from across the county.
Getting the cpo nod on 41 points were Tytherington duo Roger Hopton and Steve Chapman from Bromborough’s Iain Hughes and David Kimpton.
Hot on their heels with 40 points were Nigel Skilling and James Harvey (Bromborough) who won the cpo from Graham Woodruffe and David Atherton (Sandiway) and John Sharp and Fred Bridge (Prestbury)
Mottram provided great hospitality in the Claret Jug and their staff were excellent on and off the course to complement a top-class day.
