Nine Hole Championships at Hartford

Dave Britton, Cheshire President Andrew Henshall, Tim Barnes, Paul Underwood

Hartford Golf Club were proud and excellent hosts for their first-ever staging of a Cheshire Championship competition.
They provided and interesting, scenic and well conditioned course for the Cheshire 9-Hole Championship which is contested by men, juniors and ladies and this was the third competition of its kind in Cheshire with the previous hosts being Alderley Edge and Hale Golf Clubs and in 2020 Knutsford will stage the competition.
Hartford members dominated the entry and they took the two top prizes with Dave Britton posting 19 points to finish one clear of Paul Underwood with plenty of players on 17 chasing hard.
Cheshire President Andrew Henshall thanked all at the club for their great help in staging the event and presented their professional Tim Barnes with a Cheshire plaque in recognition of their great efforts on a memorable day for the club.
