Matt Dodd- Berry is the County Under 16 Champion

Matt Dodd-Berry celebrates his England call up with a fine 70 on the Wirral Golf course in challenging wet conditions.

Matt Dodd-Berry has enjoyed a great season with Cheshire Boys and the highlight has been his selection for England Boys.
Matt showed his talent and class at Wirral Golf Club in challenging wet conditions in the Cheshire Junior Boys championships to become the County Champion U16 golfer posting a gross 70 to win the Cookson Griffiths Trophy by two shots from Ben Currie (Withington).
The U14 champion was Dan Myers (Reddish Vale) with a gross 73 winning him the Cookson Caroe Trophy.
The best nett score of 77-15-62 was posted by Doug Christopher (Styal) and the best nett score for U12 of 78-13-65 came from Aaron Mohun (Delamere Forest).
The county officials gave thanks for the great help they received from the Wirral Captains and manager Sharon in making this day such a success.
