Cheshire junior gets a surprise

Cheshire junior boys have enjoyed a great season playing other counties with their u14s looking ready for a bright future with the county in the coming seasons with some impressive displays in matches and competitions.
One of their up and coming stars Oliver Johnson was the surprise recipient of a gift voucher from the county Under 14s team manager, Graham McCormack, recently.
Oliver, a member at Delamere Forest and Ringway golf clubs, reduced his handicap from 19 to 9 this season - the best in the squad to earn his prize..
“It was a total and nice surprise for me,” said Oliver, who put it down to dedicated practice and gaining experience, playing with the squad and being coached by the County.
