The Club at High Legh Park provided excellent support on and off their pristine course for the NeuroMuscular Centre’s Charity Golf Day which raised an Incredible £10,500 surpassing last year’s impressive total of £7,000.

Held for the second year at The Club at High Legh, Knutsford, the event continues to grow in both popularity and impact.

The funds raised will help us continue providing vital specialist services for people living with neuromuscular conditions.

Cheshire Golf supported this very worth charity with sponsorship and management of the golf aspects of the day.

Twelve fantastic teams took part in the competition, and NMC are grateful to everyone who entered a team, as well as the 14 local organisations that generously sponsored a hole.

Thank you also to the companies and individuals that supported the hugely successful auction.

NMC is a charity based in Winsford that is dedicated to enriching the lives of people affected by neuromuscular conditions through specialist services, support and advice.

They need to raise £1.4 million each year to sustain their vital services, including specialist physiotherapy and exercise in a purpose-built neuromuscular gym that are not available through the NHS.

Fundraising events such as the Charity Golf Day are essential in helping NMC continue our work, while also raising awareness of neuromuscular conditions.
