CHESHIRE BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP
At Delamere Forest Golf Club on Friday 27th July 2007
Adam Wills (Sandiway Golf Club) won his first Boys Championship with fine scores of 67 & 71 for a winning total of 138, two shots ahead of Martin Leese (Astbury Golf Club) who had two solid rounds of 70 and a final score of 140. Third place went to Josh Sims (Caldy Golf Club) on 73 & 71 for 144 after a CPO with Richard Fitzgerald (Bromborough Golf Club).Fourteen year old Oliver Carr (Heswall Golf Club) won the nett prize with fine scores of 70 & 77 = 147, less combined handicap of 8 (4) for 139 nett. His gross score was 5th best on the day.
Both Adam & Josh had travelled over night from Saunton in Devon where they finished 4th and 12th respectively in the Carris Trophy played over 72 holes.Par: 72
