Objects of the Cheshire Union of Golf Clubs

1. To further the interest of Amateur Golf in Cheshire
2. To assist in maintaining a uniform system of handicapping.
3. To encourage and develop players to County and International standard.
4. To arrange the following events:
   • Amateur Championship of the County
   • County Team Championship.
   • Inter-County Matches.
   • County Foursomes.
   • Such other Matches, Scratch Competitions and Hnadicap Events, as may be authorised.
5. To organise and maintain the facilities of the Cheshire County Golf Association, and the County Membership Scheme
6. To co-operate with the English Golf Union Ltd and other County Golf Unions in such manner as may be desirable.
