David Horsey at Walker CupDavid Horsey (Styal), in 2007 the first Cheshire player to play in the Walker Cup. In addition David won 4 England Caps


 

Paul Waring (Bromborough) was English Amateur Champion in 2005 and went on to represent England on 14 occasions
The first Four Counties Junior Tournament was held in Cheshire in 1973 at Crewe Golf Club. The Teams:
