County Membership (Life)
County Membership commenced in 1965 with a view to encouraging Members of Golf Clubs in the County to take a greater interest in the Union's activities.
County Membership for Life is open to all Members of Clubs in the Union over the age of 18. The Subscription is forty five pounds (£45.00). All newly elected Life Members shall be entitled to receive a County Member's Tie and lapel badge gratis and an Association Card (Cheshire Card) valid until 31st December of the year of joining at a discount to the normal price. Additional ties are available at five pounds (£5.00) or for such other cost as the Executive Committee from time to time decide.
All County Members will receive a copy of the Union Year Book and integrated membership card, which incorporates the County Programme, and a Newsletter once a year. The membership Card will act as a form of identity if the holder wishes to attend County Matches or other activities organised by the Union, and enable him to avail himself of Clubhouse facilities on those days.
As a Life Member you will in subsequent years be entitled to continue to purchase an Association Card (Cheshire Card) at the published discount.
There are several Golf Meetings from April to October exclusive to Members. An entrance fee to help towards the cost of expenses, including prizes will normally be charged, the amount being fixed by the Executive Committee.
An Application Form is available as a separate page. Please print and complete.
Nominations for County Membership (Life) together with remittance may be submitted to the County Secretary:
